One of the most unexpected and fulfilling opportunities to come from 2023 has been the task of creating objects which embody the memories of a loved one now departed.
It is the job of an artist to answer the questions of who a person was, how they impacted the world and what their life meant to those who survive them. This job has been taken on with a sense of great responsibility and pride. Such a personal response to a life cannot come into being without spending the time, seeing the pictures and hearing the stories.
